Lansbrook Golf Club Review | Palm Harbor, FL
Lansbrook Golf Club is located in Palm Harbor, Florida. Lansbrook is a Par-72, 18-hole course that play’s 6,486 from the back tees. Situated in a wooded wetland area with tall cypress trees. Be on the lookout for wildlife all over the course!
Lansbrook Golf Club is a Lane Marshall-designed course and had a redesign by golf course architect Ron Garl in 1991. Lansbrook also boasts one of my favorite logos that I have seen! Fantastic apparel is in the pro shop with its logo!
Like most courses in Florida, water comes into play on 13 of the 18 holes. That water being into play on so many holes creates a unique challenge but that isn’t the largest hazard on the course. Tall cypress trees line the fairways and come into play on about 50% of your tee shots. Learn more about this fantastic course with Lansbrook Golf Club Review.

Course Design – ★★★½
Lansbrook Golf Club opened in 1975 and was originally designed by course architect Lane Marshall. In 1991, the course was renovated by the legendary Ron Garl. The two architects, while working nearly two decades apart, shared the desire to present you with a course that offers both a fun and challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels in a natural setting. Par-3s: Lansbrook Golf Club has 4 Par-3’s. All 4 of these holes play over water so be ready to step up and play that nerve shot. Hole #3 is a great opening par-3 and you do play over water but you do have a bunker between you and the water. Hole #11 is my favorite, it plays at around 180 yards from the white tees.
Par-4s: Par 4’s have a lot of character and they are extremely fun to play. You get a mix of short par-4 and there is one drivable par-4 on the back 9. The most pleasing par-4 is hole #9. You have a slight dogleg left that plays with your eyes because the hole is straight. You play back towards the clubhouse with water down the right.
Par-5s: The Par-5s is where you have to deal with the tall cypress trees. The par-5 holes play very narrow and cut through the cypress trees. You will need to have very accurate drives and second shots. Hole #2 is a reachable par-5 and is the most open, so take advantage early!
Course Difficulty – ★★★½
Lansbrook Golf Club is a joy to play and I see why so many locals love to come to this course. The course gives you a variety of challenges whether that is water down the fairway or par-3s with water short. I think it is a very fair challenge for golfers of all skill levels.
The greens are Dwarf Bermudagrass and roll very smoothly and they do run pretty quickly. Make sure you get your putting practice in before heading out,
Course Amenities – ★★★½
Lansbrook Golf Club has l driving range with a good size natural grass tee box. The range does have a net at about 210 yards from the tees. So longer hitters will reach that net. They also have a large putting green located right behind the clubhouse. Looking to test your short game and bunker shots, Lansbrook does have a short game area. If you are looking for food they have a small grill and pizza restaurant in the clubhouse.
Course Conditions- ★★★
Lansbrook’s course conditions were fair. The fairways were well-kept and played true. The greens were the best part of the course. They rolled smoothly and played quick which is what I love to play. I was slightly disappointed in the tee boxes. They had the good height but they were pretty beat up, even on the par-4s and par-5s.
